Cotton:

A soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the mallow family Malvaceae. The fiber is almost pure cellulose. Under natural conditions, the cotton bolls will increase the dispersal of the seeds. The plant is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world, including the Americas, Africa, Egypt and India. The greatest diversity of wild cotton species is found in Mexico, followed by Australia and Africa.Cotton was independently domesticated in the Old and New Worlds.

Organic Cotton:

It is in the class B. It feels like conventional cotton, but it isn’t! Neither toxic pesticides nor synthetic fertilizers are used to grow this fiber, and it comes from non-genetically modified seeds. The cultivation of organic cotton does not affect aquifers. It is a great alternative to conventional cotton, with a much lower impact on the environment.

Linen:

It is in the class C. This stylish fabric has a high durability and is highly absorbent, making it a great fiber for summer garments. Linen is a renewable natural fiber found in the flax plant.

Silk:

Silk is a natural protein fiber, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The protein fiber of silk is composed mainly of fibroin and is produced by certain insect larvae to form cocoons. Silk is produced by several insects, like silk worms but generally only the silk of moth caterpillars has been used for textile manufacturing.

Lace:

Lace is a delicate fabric made of yarn or thread in an open web-like pattern, made by machine or by hand. Originally linen, silk, gold, or silver threads were used. Now lace is often made with cotton thread.
