Items Godparents need for Orthodox Baptism

The godparents are required to have the following items for the sacrament:

1. One (1) White Hand Towel
2. One (1) Large White Bath Towel
3. White Sheet
4. Small Bottle of Olive Oil
5. Bar of Soap
6. Three White Baptismal Candles
   • One (1) Candle decorated
   • Two (2) Small candles for other children to hold (optional)
   • Extremely large candles should be avoided
7. A Cross for the Child
8. Complete Change of Clothing (White optional)
